Marr-Teen Guy

Marr-Teen came to yoga in 2011. After suffering from chronic neck pain, she began a
physical yoga practice to help heal. After 15 month, she decided to enrolled in her first
CYTT training program under Swami Jaya Devi at Kashi Atlanta, an urban yoga ashram
located in the city of Atlanta. She graduated as 200 hour instructor in July 2013.
Since then, Marr-Teen has graduated both the Body Of Light Immersion under the
guide of Gina Minyard and the Radiant Child 30 hour certification in 2017. She is
currently the Program Coordinator for kid’s yoga at Kashi Atlanta. She is classically
trained in Kali Natha Yoga, Anusara Yoga, and Neelakantha Meditation. She teaches
around the Atlanta area working closely with youth camps and non profit organizations.
“I believe that yoga is an incredible gift. I am inspired by my students and teachers
every day.” Marr-Teen has plans to continue her training through Kashi and expanding
her experience and knowledge while continuing to service the community through her
practice.
